Inclusive pedagogical practices promote educational equity and a sense of belonging for all students. Since the syllabus is often the first-time instructors and students engage together, it serves to set intentions in a course. This hands-on workshop will consider the various functions and stakeholders of the course syllabus and explore a variety of ways to design syllabi to promote inclusive and equitable course practices. Please bring a syllabus for a course you teach (or will be teaching) and ideas to share with the group.
