This workshop is an introduction to Geographic Information Systems (GIS), a tool for integrating and analyzing spatial data to visualize relationships, seek explanations and develop solutions to pressing problems.

To download ArcGIS Pro on your Windows computer: Visit ITaC's webpage (https://itac.txstate.edu/support/arcgis/pro.html) to download ArcGIS Pro software and Install it on your computer. When prompted to log in after the installation, click on Sign In Using Browser at the bottom right of the Sign In portal. Afterwards, proceed to sign-in using your TXST credentials.

Please note: ArcGIS Pro can only be directly downloaded to Windows. If you have a Mac OS system, please contact ITAC to assist you in installing the required software before the workshop.
