Alkek One’s new virtual production studio will be available for Texas State student, faculty, and staff use beginning in the fall of 2024.
The ALIAS Virtual Production Studio offers a state-of-the-art filmmaking experience using Unreal Engine 3D sets on a 30ft x 11ft. wall of LED panels. Users will be able to create their own 3D world in our Unreal Engine workshop or use one of our premade sets. The studio also includes a 6K camera, a stage and cinema quality audio and lighting equipment. These faculty-only tours will give you the opportunity to preview this new technology lab and discuss its possible uses with our Alkek One staff.
