If you are pursuing external funding, then this is the seminar for you! It is open to anyone from any College who hopes to be a funded Principal Investigator.

The seminar will review how the award process works at TXST. The five presenters will each cover different aspects of the process, from Pre-Award services at your College through to the Office of Sponsored Programs and then back to your College via Post-Award services. Our goal is to convey how all the various agreements and systems interact so that you’ll anticipate the challenges before they happen and thus have better success in both winning awards and spending them efficiently.

The session will occur in Jowers D120 as well as being on Zoom, and will be recorded. Light refreshments will be provided.

This is part of the 2023-2024 lecture series on research and grants funded by the College of Education Research Office. The overall theme of this ongoing series is how to find, apply for, win, and spend grant funding as a faculty member of any rank at Texas State University.

Some of the lectures planned will provide information useful to faculty at all colleges. Other lectures will focus on sponsors interested in Education Research and will primarily appeal to those faculty whose research would interest the sponsors.
