Engaging Students in Global Learning Without Leaving the Classroom
Join this session to hear from TXST faculty who connect with faculty colleagues throughout the world to form international partnerships and interdisciplinary connections in their classrooms through Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL).
COIL uses innovative technology to bring students and faculty together to bring a global perspective to the classroom. COIL can be part of any course in any discipline, embedded within a face-to-face, hybrid, or online course.
This workshop supports the university’s goal to provide the necessary services, resources, and infrastructure to support the university’s strategic direction, including a diversity of people and ideas, a spirit of inclusiveness, a global perspective, and a sense of community as essential conditions for campus life.
