This practical, hands-on session provides a brief overview of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and issues related to accessibility in online learning. In this session, you will use tools for making your documents from Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe accessible. We will also explore Microsoft Stream, a tool within our Microsoft 365 suite that stores, automatically captions, and streams videos. Finally, we will use an accessibility tool within Canvas that highlights design issues that must and should be addressed within your course.
Feel free to bring (or otherwise have ready) your own materials for UDOIT and accessibility scanning.
