Difficult Classroom Conversations Series - Session 4
No matter how long we have been teaching, this semester is different. So many things are going on in the world that affect how we interact with students in the face-to-face classroom and online. You don’t have to go it alone.
Faculty Development is sponsoring a new weekly Faculty Discussion Series called Difficult Classroom Conversations. Each week we’ll meet via ZOOM to tackle a different topic, with guest speakers who will share their expertise with us. And there will be plenty of time to talk and brainstorm ways to create vibrant classroom communities in spite of the chaos going on around us.
The fourth session will be Wednesday, September 9, 2020, noon – 1 p.m., and the topic will be “Self-Care During a Pandemic: Building the Capacity to Support our Students and Ourselves” with Dr. Janet Bezner, Professor, Department of Physical Therapy and Chair, Faculty Senate.
