Creating competitive research proposals for external funding requires a comprehensive plan that is conveyed in a coherent and concise format. Research is sometimes less about "doing" and more about "thinking": taking a strong idea, stating a clear research question, and choosing an appropriate methodology. The presenter will use an interactive format to assist faculty to improve their preparatory skills for designing a study which, in turn, can increase the likelihood of a proposal being favorably review and funded. All faculty and post-doctoral researchers are invited. For those unable to attend, please feel free to contact Dr. Price or other staff in Methodology, Measurement and Statistical Analysis.
