Learn the basics of photography in a hands-on workshop. Join us as we learn from an industry professional, Annie Donovan.
Please bring your camera or smart phone to the workshop as we will be spending some time taking photographs. Smart phones are perfect tools for those starting out in photography! While we will be discussing techniques that apply to any camera/phone, please note that your specific device may be laid out a little differently, so be patient with yourself as you learn how to make the most of your device.
Annie D is an artist and educator currently based in Austin, TX. She graduated from Florida State University with a Master of Fine Arts in Studio Art in 2015 and from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography in 2010. Her artwork has been shown internationally including Texas, Florida, Ohio, Georgia, Arkansas, New York, Maine, and Italy. She has been featured in publications including The Oxford American, Lenscratch, and Light Leaked.
