This annual event is to encourage undergraduate STEM majors to pursue research with Texas State faculty by meeting them one-on-one in a fun, non-threatening environment.
FIRST: STEM faculty will make one-minute presentations on their area(s) of research interest.
NEXT: In the format of speed networking, students will be able to move from one table to another to meet with research faculty in their discipline for an 8-minute conversation. Listen, ask questions, and see what sparks your interest!
Students will be able to pick up information on paid summer undergraduate research opportunities.
Light refreshments will be served.
It is a one-time event, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, September 23, 2019, in the LBJ Student Center Ballroom.
