Registration is closed for this session.
This workshop introduces you to the world of ArcGIS StoryMaps. A StoryMap is a web platform that allows users to "combine maps with narrative text, images, and multimedia content. They make it easy to harness the power of maps and geography to tell your story". The workshop is open to all with no prior knowledge in GIS or those who will like to refreshen their knowledge after a long break from learning GIS. It is hands-on so attendees will have the opportunity to create their own StoryMaps.
***The Zoom link will be emailed to registered participants after 4:00pm the day before the workshop. It will be sent in a separate email from the automated reminder email. Please email Brittney Johnson at firstname.lastname@example.org if you do not receive the link.***
(This workshop will be offered virtually; however, for participants who need access to a campus computer, please sign up for the session located in Alkek 105. That session is limited to only 5 registrants; social-distancing and mask-wearing policies will be enforced, and the instructor will Zoom in for the session.)
