Are you a future teacher? Is this your first time attending a job fair? Have you completed, or are you currently completing, your student teaching component? If you answered yes, and would like tips, tricks, and a better understanding of what to expect at the Teacher Job Fair, make sure to register to attend this workshop!
The Office of Educator Preparation and Career Services are partnering up to provide this preparation event as the Teacher Job Fair approaches on November 2, 2017. Over 100 school districts will attend the Teacher Job Fair this semester, and several will offer on-the-spot interviews!
This two-hour preparation workshop will include an HR representative from one of our partner districts and some specific information from the Career Services Liaison for the College of Education regarding sample resumes, advice for interviewing (from clothing to conversation), day-of-event information, and other support services provided by Career Services. Materials with sample resumes, cover letters, and interview questions specifically for teachers will be distributed at this workshop.
