This session addresses qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and how to write up a methods section. Attendees will learn about the different parts of a methods section, how methodology informs research writing, and how to find holes or shortcomings in methodological write-ups. In this interactive workshop, attendees will get the opportunity to analyze writing samples, applying what they’ve learned about methodology and writing and identify the strengths and weaknesses of how the methodology is designed and written up.
