This Shop Talk is for prospective applicants for the 2020 National Science Foundation’s Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP), for which applications will be due in fall 2019. The GRFP provides three years of financial support for graduate students pursuing master’s and doctoral degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), STEM education, and the social sciences. If you are an undergraduate junior or senior or a graduate student in your first year of graduate school, this workshop is for you. Find out if you are eligible and what you should do now to begin working on your application during the summer.
