Commencement is one of the largest events on campus and will bring nearly 50,000 guests and graduates to Strahan Coliseum in May 2016. This workshop will prepare employees for this monumental event and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all in attendance.
Workshop attendees will gain knowledge of general commencement protocol, services available to guests and graduates, evacuation procedures, and details about their role in an emergency situation. Time has been allotted at the end of the workshop for optional CPR training and an introduction to Automated External Defibrillators (AED).
This workshop is available to faculty, staff, and student employees that will be working at a commencement ceremony. Employees that plan to work at commencement in 2016 or 2017 should attend this workshop as it will not be offered again until 2018.
Registration for this workshop closes on April 1st. Space is limited so please register soon!
