A discussion of the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program with an emphasis on who is eligible, what it provides, NSF’s review criteria, etc. It will also cover how to develop a competitive application to the program, including how to recruit mentors, how to frame your research topic, what NSF is looking for in the other components of the application, and how to avoid common mistakes.
Please note: In order to attend this workshop, you must be a senior undergraduate student or have completed no more than 12 months of graduate school, and you must be a US citizen, national, or permanent resident. You also must plan to pursue a degree in a field that NSF funds.
