Description:

It is well documented that graduate students are far more successful in their graduate studies and future careers if they engage in productive mentorship relationships. By attending this session, you will learn how to seek out mentors, what to expect from a mentor, and what your role in a mentorship relationship involves. For those of you that plan to become university and community college professors, this session will also be valuable because you are the mentors of the future.

This session will take place both in-person on the San Marcos campus and live-streamed through Zoom. If you are interested in attending the in-person session, be sure to register for the event with the location "San Marcos". If you are interested in attending through Zoom, please register for the event with the location "Online". Please note in-person registration is limited.
