Interested in interning or working in the Dallas area? Then don’t miss the opportunity to visit Dallas with Career Services to meet with members of the Dallas Texas State Alumni Chapter and meet with high-profile employers. We will visit the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport to explore the variety of career options within various departments including risk management, operations, environmental, and others. In addition, we will visit Parallon, one of the healthcare industry's leading providers of business and operational services. The goal of this trip is to allow you to network with successful Texas State alumni and see potential career opportunities available upon graduation.
This exclusive trip is offered to the first 30 students who register. Cost to participate is $20 which includes round-trip transportation, admission to a Dallas alumni networking mixer, hotel stay, select meals and employer on-site visits.
Join us on Thursday, April 9 to embark on this adventure. Vans will leave campus at 9 a.m. and will return on Friday, April 10 around 9 p.m. This event is open to all majors but space is limited. Spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration closes on Wednesday, March 25 at 5 p.m. An automatic waitlist will be generated once the first 30 spots are filled. If a seat becomes available, you will be notified.
Requirements for Participants:
•Must have Jobs4Cats and LinkedIn profiles.
•Must attend the information session on Friday, March 27 at 1:00 p.m. in the Career Services office or schedule a 1-1 appointment in Career Services prior to March 27 information session.
•Bring $20 CASH (no change will be provided) and completed travel release paperwork (which will be e-mailed once you register) to the information session.
