Serving Bilingual Communities: Emergent Issues
In this symposium professors and students will discuss the complexity of the implementation of bilingual education in the United States due to the impact of ideology and other influences that significantly affect the services that emergent bilingual students receive in the public school system. They will also examine the connection and significance of the fields of mental health and speech pathology to the education of minority languages students.
