Texas Food Handler Training is conducted periodically during the school year. If you are unable to attend one of the scheduled training sessions or would prefer to complete the training on TRACS, please email our office at ehs@txstate.edu.

-Attend and successfully complete the classroom training. A minimum score of 70% is required for successful completion.

-Please be mindful that once the presentation has begun no students will be allowed to enter the room. It is very important to be on time.

-Once you have successfully completed the training, you will be issued a Food Handler certificate. The certificate is valid for 2 years.

-The certificate must be present while serving food at an open event or for sale of food to the public while on Texas State property.

*DISCLAIMER* Effective Fall 2018, if less than five (5) participants are registered for this training, the class may be cancelled. If the course is cancelled, will be notified 24 hours before. At that time, you will have the option to register for another classroom training or opt to take the training online through TRACS. For questions, please contact EHSRM at 512-245-3616.
