Intellectual property refers to work that is the result of creativity of the mind. Examples are inventions, artistic works, and written documents including a thesis or dissertation. Your work as a graduate student will result in creation of intellectual property. By law, intellectual property is protected by copyright, patents and trademarks. This brown bag session will help you understand your rights as a creator of intellectual property.
The brown bag will be led by Dr. Gary Beall, Associate Dean in the College of Science & Engineering and Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry.
