A "Lifeguard Workshop" for Residential Assistants, Peer Educators and student leaders that will discuss mental health, the warning signs of suicide and ways to deal with stress and anxiety in a safe space.
Instructor: Arquimides H. Pacheco, who is Education Manager-West for The Trevor Project, the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to LGBTQ youth. In this role, Arquimides focuses on educating youth and adults through in person workshops, presentations, webinars and collaterals.
