Coursera Faculty Institute

Topic Details

Description:

The world is changing rapidly, but the core mission of faculty remains the same. As students prepare for an
increasingly complex and evolving landscape, this presents both challenges and opportunities to not only
maintain faculty relevance, but expand it. In this course, you’ll explore how emerging technologies, evolving
student expectations, and the growing emphasis on skills are reshaping the learning experience. Through
real-world examples and guided reflection, you’ll consider how to connect what you already teach to more
visible, applicable outcomes for students… expanding your impact without compromising academic rigor or
your role as the guiding authority in your course. By the end, you’ll leave with a clearer perspective on how to
amplify your teaching in ways that feel authentic, manageable, and meaningful for both you and your students.
