This workshop, offered online in two 1-hour sessions, is designed for faculty who are planning to teach online for the first time. It covers topics such as:

-Designing an effective structure for an online course
-Developing online lessons and assessments
-Facilitating online discussions
-Creating an effective course syllabus

If the location indicated for a session is Adobe Connect, you will be able to participate from any computer that has a stable Internet connection (you do not need special software). A microphone is optional but recommended. You will receive details about Adobe Connect and how to participate 2-3 days prior to the session.
