This session will support non-tenure line faculty through the process of developing a well-structured narrative summarizing their teaching philosophy, and accomplishments making the case for promotion outlined in AA/PPS No. 04.02.21. Narratives for promotion must highlight achievements from a faculty member’s initial appointment or last promotion to the time of submission of the current promotion packet. Participants will learn how to effectively showcase their contributions in teaching, scholarly and professional engagement, and service to prepare appropriate documentation for promotion.
While all faculty are welcome to attend, this session is tailored to non-tenure line faculty preparing to submit narratives for promotion.
