The 2022 International Research Conference (IRC) conference will kick off on Tuesday, April 5 with Dr. Jennifer Irvin delivering the keynote presentation titled, "The Secrets to Success in Graduate Research: Compassionate Practices to Foster Research Productivity." This keynote presentation highlights the significance of the 2021-2022 Common Experience theme, Compassion (www.txstate.edu/commonexperience/ce-theme). All Texas State faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend this virtual event. There will be time to ask Dr. Irvin questions at the end, so be sure to bring yours regarding compassion in research!
Dr. Irvin is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and the recipient of the 2021-2022 Graduate College Outstanding Mentor Award.
The International Research Conference (IRC) is open to graduate students from any discipline to present their original research or project. This year’s conference is taking place virtually from April 5 – 8 through ForagerOne’s Symposium platform. Presentations will be viewable at any point throughout the conference. The Graduate College invites all Texas State faculty, staff, and students to attend and support graduate student research.
