WHERE WILL YOUR CONFIRMATION EMAIL GO?
Activate your Bobcatmail email address to find your reservation details in your inbox. Your Bobcatmail address is YourNetID @txstate.edu (for example, ABC123 @txstate.edu). Access your Bobcatmail here: https://itac.txstate.edu/support/office365/bobcatmail-login.html
WHO CAN ATTEND?
For your benefit, academic advising sessions are intended for STUDENTS ONLY. Select a QUIET, PRIVATE appointment location.
HOW TO JOIN?
On your academic advising day, when your academic advising time window begins, begin checking your Bobcatmail inbox for an email invitation to join an advising session. Please be patient; your invitation may arrive at any time during your advising window. When you are next in the queue, an academic advisor will email you to your Bobcatmail with a Zoom link to join your NSO academic advising session. Advising sessions will last 15-20 minutes.
ARRIVED LATE? MISSED YOUR INVITATION?
You will have 5 minutes to join the Zoom session. If you do not enter the session, you will need to sign up for another advising window. Please understand, advising spots are limited, so please make every effort to watch your Bobcatmail account and enter your Zoom session as soon as possible.
HOW TO PREPARE?
Confirm you have a reliable Internet connection.
Enable and adjust your web camera and microphone.
Keep your web camera engaged at all times.
Do not walk during your Zoom session.
Use headphones for privacy.
