THIS EVENT IS ONLY FOR THOSE ATTENDING THE ROUND ROCK CAMPUS WATCH PARTY.

The Common Experience Insight Series and First Gen Proud present a free livestream event of Michelle Obama in conversation with university students about the themes in her memoir, Becoming.

University students nationwide will interview Mrs. Obama in Washington, D.C. One first-year, first-gen student from Texas State University has been selected to represent our campus for the event. The student representative will ask questions related to the Common Experience theme of Compassion.

The online event will occur November 9:
• Livestream begins at 12:00pm and concludes at 2:00pm
• Watch party at the Round Rock campus begin at 11:45am and conclude at 2:00pm *

*Those attending the watch party will have the chance to receive a FREE COPY of Becoming by Michelle Obama while supplies last. Priority will be given to current students.

Through her four main initiatives, she has become a role model for women and an advocate for healthy families, service members and their families, higher education, and international adolescent girls’ education.
