US 1100 faculty members are invited to attend New Student Convocation, the initial welcome event for all first-year students. The event will take place on Wednesday, August 18 from 6-7pm in the University Events Center. At this event, the President and Provost will provide remarks, academic resources will be shared with students, and the following ensembles will be featured: Texas State ceremonial brass ensemble, VocaLibre, Mariachi Nueva Generación, and Hip Hop Congress. Faculty can park in the Coliseum Lot (P-9). Once inside the building, ushers and student support staff will be able to direct faculty to their seating area.
