Attend this Shop Talks session to learn how to use various resources to help you identify highly cited research. Resources covered in this workshop will include Sage Navigator, Web of Science, and Google Scholar. These tools can set you on the path to finding research referred to as seminal, pivotal or landmark studies. Seminal research is publications that initially presented an idea of great importance or influence within a particular discipline or field of study. Seminal articles are highly cited in research, so you are likely to see these sources frequently cited in other journal articles, books, dissertations, etc. If you will be writing a literature review, this Shop Talks session is ideal for beginning your search!
