BEx Analyzer training will teach you the functionality of the Business Explorer (BEx), a powerful reporting tool that you can use year-round to track your position budgets. In this 2-hour workshop, we’ll review the queries available in the BEx and show you how to manipulate layouts in order to derive and display the information you need in the most useful format. If you plan to take the Salary Budgets workshop, please take this one first if you can.
The BEx Analyzer functions only in the budget development (BP2) system of SAP. You’ll need to verify your budget-development security access with ITAC or contact the Budget Office for assistance to get it. To participate in this workshop you must have access to both budget and salary data in SAP.
Make sure you know your current BP2 password—it's not necessarily the same as your regular SAP password!

All workshops are held in a computer lab and include hands-on activities using your accounts. Be sure you have the necessary levels of access to SAP and know your account numbers!
Walk-ins are welcome to any session unless all seats are filled by registrants—you may want to call us at 245-2376 to learn the status of a workshop before you show up.
