Description:

Description: This 3-hour session will focus on the following topic areas:

1. Groups in Canvas: Groups are a small version of a course and used as a collaborative tool where students can work together on group projects and assignments. In this session, learn how to create these groups, delegate group assignments, and manage groups.
2. Crosslisting: Crosslisting allows you to move section enrollments from individual courses and combine them into one course. This feature is helpful for instructors who teach several sections of the same course and only want to manage course data in one location. In this session, we will go over how to cross-list along with the details and best practices of crosslisting.
3. Tools for collaboration: Peer Reviews, Discussions and more: Canvas makes collaborating online with peers easy. In this session, learn how to create meaningful collaborative learning spaces within Canvas where your students can interact with one another while instructors can monitor student communication.
