Texas State will be hosting a training session conducted by the Open Learning Initiative (OLI), founded at Carnegie Mellon University to create free online course materials in a number of disciplines. OLI would particularly like to engage faculty who teach in the following disciplines: Statistics, Psychology, Anatomy & Physiology, French, Biology, Logic & Proofs, and Engineering Statistics. However, the session is open to all interested parties. The session will be presented by Candace Thille, Director of OLI. Attendees are asked to bring a laptop or other device to access the Internet and OLI materials during the session.
