Course Details: This course will cover hazardous substance determination, proper shipping names, placarding, marking, labeling, shipping papers and more.
Who Should Attend: The Department of Transportation requires training for transporting hazardous substances. Please attend if you are a staff member who performs one or more of the following job duties:
• loads, unloads, or handles hazardous materials
• marks or labels containers
• prepares hazardous materials for transportation, including preparing shipping papers (waste manifest)
• operates a vehicle used to transport hazardous materials
