This workshop will assist faculty in developing an individualized plan for pursuing funded research. Topics include establishing long-term research and grant-writing goals, fostering collaborations, seeking and identifying relevant funding opportunities, critically reading funding solicitations, communicating with program officers, and accessing Texas State tools and resources for research and grant support. Following a brief overview, Ms. Gonzales will be available to provide personal consultation to attendees. This workshop is a repeat of one offered in September on the San Marcos campus. Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop and registration will be capped at 30 participants.
