Systematic reviews are just one type of evidence synthesis, using transparent methods to gather and use empirical studies as research data. This shop talk will place systematic reviews in the context of other types of evidence synthesis such as scoping and rapid reviews, and walk you through the process of completing a systematic review in engineering or the social sciences.
