In this hands-on workshop, participants will delve into the art of music production and arrangement. No prior music production knowledge or experience playing instruments is required, and all the software we will use is completely free. During the workshop, participants will make their own beats, basslines and melodies, experiment with looping different sounds, and learn the basics of layers and arrangement. By the end of the workshop, participants will have created their own unique music tracks that can be used for class presentations, personal projects, or other creative endeavors.
Please bring headphones to the workshop. If you do not have a pair, let us know so we can try to arrange for spares. Contact tamarin.butcher@txstate.edu if you need a headset.
