In this presentation, Dr. Acee will describe his experiences conceptualizing a research grant project, seeking funding for the project through a state foundation- the Greater Texas Foundation, and implementing the project after it was funded. He will highlight lessons learned thus far and propose strategies and tips that participants may find applicable to their projects. The session will conclude with an open discussion and question and answer session.
