TXST Canvas is Texas State's new learning management system (LMS). Canvas allows you to build a digital learning environment to simplify teaching and elevate learning. This workshop is intended for current Texas State Instructors. This workshop will provide a deeper dive into the Quizzes, Assignments, and Grading tools.

-Creating and Publishing Assignments with various options
-Creating Quizzes with all question types
-Publishing Quizzes with various options
-Differences between TRACS Assessments and Canvas Quizzes
-Setting up the Gradebook with weighted categories and other options

Classroom Sessions will provide computer workstations for participant access.
Online Sessions will be conducted online using the Zoom application. A Zoom Pro account is provided free of charge for current faculty, staff, and students. Prior to class, participants will be sent a meeting invitation via email which will include additional instructions on how to download and setup Zoom. Participants will join the meeting from a quiet space of their choosing. A computer or mobile device with an internet connection, speakers/headphones, and microphone are required to join. A webcam is not required to attend this workshop, but is necessary to use the full features of Zoom.
