Shifts in Microsoft Teams
Description:

Microsoft Teams is a collaborative workspace that leverages persistent chat, video meetings, file sharing, and more to increase productivity and enrich communication. Teams is available to all TXST faculty, staff, and students as part of the Office 365 suite.

Shifts in Microsoft Teams is a schedule management tool that helps you create, update, and manage schedules for your team.

In this training, participants will learn:
- How to create a Team
- How to add members to a Team
- How to Set up Shifts for a Team
- How to create and copy a schedule
- How to create open shifts
- How to manage your Team's Shifts

Note: This workshop is only open to Faculty and Staff, and may be cancelled if fewer than 5 people register.
In an effort to go green, we are not providing printed training materials for this workshop.

Online Sessions will be conducted online using the Zoom application. A Zoom Pro account is provided free of charge for current faculty, staff, and students. Prior to class, participants will be sent a meeting invitation via email which will include additional instructions on how to download and setup Zoom. Participants will join the meeting from a quiet space of their choosing. A computer or mobile device with an internet connection, speakers/headphones, and microphone are required to join. A webcam is not required to attend this workshop, but is necessary to use the full features of Zoom.
