The Office of Research Development is pleased to host a Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) luncheon with TxDOT’s Research and Technology Implementation (RTI) Division’s Program Directors and Project Managers. TxDOT’s RTI program is the mechanism for TxDOT to contract with State of Texas-supported institutions of higher education through a competitive process to conduct research that improves Texas transportation.
Whether you are new to TxDOT funding or have received funding in the past, faculty from all disciplines and backgrounds are welcome to attend. During the luncheon, attendees will hear a presentation on the TxDOT RTI program, including how to identify a project champion, navigate the problem statement submission process, apply for funding, and manage and execute an RTI research project.
