This gathering is an informal place to meet your fellow students from around the world and to ask questions and hear from folks who have been through the same experiences as you.
Join us for an informative afternoon where we will talk about cultural assimilation and adaptation to help you make the most of your time and experience here at McCoy College, Texas State and Texas in general.
We will have a guest speaker and and student panel made up of students who, like you, had to deal with the sudden shock of moving half way around the world to a new country and a new way of life with little more than a suitcase and a dream.
