This hands-on workshop will provide the how and why for building a strong researcher profile in the PIVOT funding database. We will begin with a brief overview of PIVOT, which includes more than $44 billion in funding opportunities and three million scholar profiles, and then move on to the profile system, including the opportunity to create your unique author identifier called ORCiD. Attendees will have time to actually create or update their profiles and set up alerts for specific funding opportunities. Faculty and staff interested in pursuing research funding, or assisting with that process, will find this workshop useful
