Description:

Join Dr. David Gibbs and Dr. Alexander McLeod as they share how providing video feedback to students is a vital component in the learning process. Video is one method of providing feedback that is often under-utilized because of the notion that it is time-consuming and difficult.

During this faculty showcase, you will learn how two experienced instructors used video recordings to provide feedback to online students. Not only did students value the feedback method, the instructors found it to be a simple but effective way to communicate assessment feedback. This method could be applied in both online and face-to-face courses.

This is a brown bag event, so feel free to bring your lunch. Beverages and sweet and salty snacks will be provided. Plan to arrive by 11:45am or earlier as the program will begin promptly at noon.

WEBINAR REGISTRATION:
Please register even if you will be attending online. After you register you will have the option to Request special accommodations. Use this option to indicate you will attend using the online webinar option (i.e., Zoom). Access information will be sent at least one hour prior to the session.
