Topic Details

Description:

Learn how to use GIS to solve problems like: finding shortest path (distance/time) to a location, finding the closest service/facility, determining service areas of businesses etc. This is a hands-on workshop so attendees will have the chance to practice everything taught during the lesson.

NB: This is an advanced topic so attendees are recommended to first take one of the basic GIS Courses such as Basics of ArcGIS I and II or Where there is no ArcGIS - Exploring Open Source GIS I and II (if they have no prior knowledge of GIS or the ArcGIS software) before this one if possible. This workshop is also highly recommended for people in Business Administration, Retail, Marketing, Transportation and Planning.
