Description:

Theater Delta is coming to Texas State! This performance, specifically for graduate students, is focused on graduate student-faculty mentorships. The performance will use Interactive Theater – scripted and improvisational audience participatory theater – to promote dialogue and solutions around this key student-faculty advising relationship. Participants will witness a scene, have an opportunity to interact with the characters in the scene and then take part in a facilitated conversation about the issues raised. Topics include communicating proactively, receiving critical feedback, planning research, managing time and deadlines and others. A can't-miss Shop Talk for graduate students from all programs! Sponsored by The Graduate College and the Office of Equity and Access.

A Pre-presentation Reception! Come to the reception for great food, drink, and conversation with Theater Delta, faculty, and students at 4:45 in the Foyer of Alkek 250; the presentation begins at 5:15 in Alkek 250.
