Faculty will learn what LGBTQIA stands for and what students who identify as LGBTQIA are looking for in an inclusive education environment. Faculty will learn best practices for creating inclusive syllabi, curriculum, and discussion around LGBTQIA issues. This webinar will address being inclusive in all courses, from mathematics to gender and sexuality. Resources available at Texas State University for LGBTQIA students will be shared, and information on how to become more involved in supporting the LGBTQIA community will be presented.
