Description:

Texas State University prides itself on being large but having the “feel” of a small college. To a large extent this is based on the interactions between faculty and students, having faculty who are interested in and value undergraduates. As we continue to grow, with emphasis on “doing everything” including extraordinary service and research, how can we maintain this “small college feel”? Possible ways to promote such interactions, from including undergraduates in research to using critical thinking questions in teaching theater classes, will be discussed.
