This workshop will give participants a few tricks that they can use in their TRACS course. Things covered will be:
Permissions: what they do and why you might change them
Resources: changing permissions on folders so that students can upload files
Forums: creating group specific forums
Web Content: create a link to a resource that appears as a tool
Roles: what are they and why you might use them
Assessments: how to give an exam to one student (maybe a make-up exam) and not allow the entire class to take the exam
Hiding tools: allow you as the instructor to use a tool but not let students see them
