As a transfer student, your time at the university can be shorter. To make the most of your academic experience, connecting with mentors is key. Presented by the Transfer Ambassadors -- your peer mentors -- this presentation is about expanding your mentoring network to include faculty and other mentors who can help guide your academic and career journey.
Attendees will:
- Identify their mentors and mentoring network
- Learn about the Mentoring Relationship Roadmap, a proactive and mentee-centered mentoring model
- Learn how to use the "Establishing and Maintaining Relationships Framework"
- Learn about "mentorability," or being mentorable
